When it was released, the Hora Mundi immediately captivated. This mechanical watch, which required three years of development and obtained four patents, had a major asset: the benefit of a dual time zone with instant change.

A visual escape

The dial offers a fascinating interpretation of the world on the wrist by playing on materials and the superposition of different plates. On the first gold base, hand-guilloched waves wash up on the shores of the continents. The sun-brushed dial, dressed in an abyssal blue, gives the waves a permanent waltz-like feel. But perhaps this is also due to the treatment of the continents… An additional sapphire plate is made up of metallized meridians. The continents benefit from a horizontal satin finish and their coastlines are subtly drawn with a metallized turquoise border. Finally, an outer flange holds the different elements present on the dial. The result is perfectly executed dimensions and surfaces thanks to different treatments that required several weeks of work.
